My Bio: From the "Bold and the Beautiful" to "Pretty Woman" to playing Ginger on "Gilligan's Island" Judy Baldwin has earned herself a reputation for being one of the most beautiful, talented and sought after actresses around. From Miss New Mexico titleholder and then runner up for Miss USA, after which she ended up in New York, as one of the Wilhelmina Agency's top
models. After firmly establishing herself with Elizabeth Arden
This
was an unhappy though fortuitous event in Judy's life in that it ultimately
led to her unquenchable drive to make something of herself. She threw
herself headlong into high school activities, joining the Thespians Club,
excelling in art classes, and becoming Head It was in her second year of college that Judy captured the Miss New Mexico title after which she graduated with a BFA in Interior Design. Lady Luck once again smiled upon the beautiful blonde in the person of Sonny and Cher's agent who suggested she fly to Los Angeles to seek a career in film. She was put under contract by 20th Century Fox and spent the next few years appearing in a series of TV shows. Frustrated by the sameness of the roles offered her she decided to go to New York to study with Lee Strasberg and subsequently became a member of the Actors Studio. Her modeling career was time consuming but she always found time to study her first love of acting. Her decision to leave the world of modeling and commercials and plunge head first into acting brought her instantaneous success. She has appeared in over 250 TV shows, a dozen movies, and hundreds of commercials. You have seen her as everything from a mom to a hooker to a blue collar caterer to the seductive other woman. The only negative aspect of this portion of her life was the tragic death of her younger brother Mark. Judy
has appeared with luminaries such as Richard Gere, William Shatner, Oscar
winner George Chakiris, Julia Roberts, Rosie O'Donnell, Dan Ackroyd, Bette
Midler, Barbara Hershey, John Cryer, Demi Moore, Mac Davis, Stephen Collins
and Cybill Shepherd. And Judy Baldwin is a busy actress to this day. However she's still found time to become a computer whiz; she also loves to cook for and entertain her many friends and tries to sandwich in enough gardening to keep her green thumb alive and well. She has personally decorated her charming Los Angeles house that she shares with her latest sweetie, Duke, a one year old Golden Retriever. Judy loves her pets.
